Hey, My name is Kris, I’m 36 years old and have been drawing since I was old enough to hold a crayon.  I graduated from the MUN Fine Art program in 2013 with a BFA in Visual Arts with an equivalent Art History minor

My artistic interests lie in the categories of drawing, painting, colour theory, body modification, and permanence and the ephemeral.  I’ve always been drawn to tattooing and the bold graphic qualities of tattoo styles.

I apprenticed under Travis Jones at Skin Gallery Tattoo in Corner Brook beginning in 2015.  In July 2018 I moved to St. John’s where I work with an amazing crew of tattooers at Skin City Fine Custom Tattoos in the heart of downtown at 325 Duckworth Street. (Right above The Duke of Duckworth!)

As an artist, I love designing new pieces and working with clients to bring their ideas to life.  I tend to steer toward visual metaphors instead of overusing text.

I have certification in Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid and CPR.  Extreme cleanliness in my work environment is of the utmost importance to me for both my own safety and the health and safety of my clients.  At Skin City we use single-use disposable needles, grips, and tubes, hospital grade disinfectants, and hypo allergenic barrier control methods in our work spaces to keep all equipment clean and uncontaminated. (Nitrile gloves, all machines, cords and work surfaces are bagged or covered)
